How do I use this blog?

This blog is to be used in conjunction with the Texas Instruments TI-83, TI-83/84 Plus/Silver Ed. calculators. I have included in the postings how to do each of the processes listed in the individual posts. I will add processes as needed or requested. If there is a process you wish to accomplish using these calculators, please send me a post and I will add it to my list.

Steps to Use ScreenCapture

1. Connect your calculator to your computer using your TI Link Cable 2. Double Click on the TI Connect icon on your desktop to open the TI Connect “dashboard” 3. Single Click on the TI ScreenCapture icon to open the ScreenCaptrue program, this will “connect” your calculator to your computer 4. Enter the desired information into your calculator, this should be the information you wish to transfer from the calculator to the computer 5. Once you have the desired information on your calculator screen, click on the camera icon in the toolbar to “capture” the image on the screen of the calculator 6. The image is then transferred to the screen of your computer, multiple images may be sent to your computer and will be held until you “close” each window, but only one image may be sent at one time 7. After the image has been captured, you can copy & paste the image into a word document, a power point presentation or any other document/file as desired. To do this you must make sure that the image you want to copy is “highlighted”, then you use the ctrl+C kesy to copy the image. 8. Open the file/document you wish to past the image into and use the crtl+V keys to paste the image where you want it to be
