How do I use this blog?

This blog is to be used in conjunction with the Texas Instruments TI-83, TI-83/84 Plus/Silver Ed. calculators. I have included in the postings how to do each of the processes listed in the individual posts. I will add processes as needed or requested. If there is a process you wish to accomplish using these calculators, please send me a post and I will add it to my list.

Steps to Use StudyCards

1. If the TI StudyCard creator icon is on your desktop, double click the icon to open the creator program 2. Choose either to create a “new stack” or to open an “existing stack” and click ok 3. If a new stack is being created, you need to chose the correct device to “send” your stack to and chose whether your stack will be a “self check, self check with levels, multiple choice, or multiple choice with levels” type of stack 4. Self check cards are just that, they do not give any feedback as to whether the answer is correct or incorrect, this is done by the user. All multiple choice cards are checked by the calculator instantly. 5. Fill-in all information at the top of the screen (title, version, created by, etc.) 6. Fill-in the name of the card to be created 7. Type the desired information to be on the “front” of the card on the left screen and the desired information to be on the “back” of the card on the right screen 8. To make a new card you can use ctrl+shift+N or use the edit tab and select New Card from here 9. Crate as many cards as desired for your stack. 10. You can either Save the stack (traditional way of saving a file) or send the stack to a calculator by clicking the calculator icon in the toolbar or using ctrl+T keys
